Bend, Oregon Couples Session

There is nothing more beautiful to me than Bend, Oregon in the Fall. This past October James and I had the pleasure of modeling for one of my favorite wedding photographers, Dawn Charles while she taught a mentoring session in Bend, Oregon. It wasn’t until the last few years that I realized how important it was to have the camera turned on myself every once in a while to help me remember what it’s like for my clients to be in front of my camera. And when I’m with James, being in front of the camera is easy because he makes me laugh so much. If there is one thing I hear regularly from wedding and portrait clients, it’s that their worried they’ll be so awkward in front of the camera. Remember that it is the photographer’s job to make you feel comfortable and to capture those fun and candid moments; just relax and make sure to have fun during your session. Seriously, the sillier and more adventurous the better. Anyways! These photos were taken at Dillon Falls, just outside of Bend, Oregon and I seriously love them. One million thank you’s to Dawn for capturing our love so perfectly.
